Sleep study for a toddler?
Eliza has to have a sleep study done to rule out apnea. How the heck does THAT occur? I'm assuming she'll be sleeping at a center, not at home. Can I sleep with her- I KNOW she'd never sleep anywhere other than her own bed. Do they use a sedative?
Sorry for the seemingly silly questions- DH took her to the ENT and didn't ask.....
Thanks!

Re: Sleep study for a toddler?
We went through the EXACT same thing. DS was suspected of apnea at 6 months and they wanted to do a sleep study on him before he turned 2 years old. Our insurance wouldn't cover a sleep study in the lab with cribs. So he would've had to be put in a twin bed, with all the damn wires and crap. (DH has had numerous sleep studies due to his apnea, so he say no way in hell was his son going through that.) We fought with insurance for 6 months to do the home study. Yes, they have those, so ask.
But my insurance said no. Long story short, I took video of my son and sent it to the ENT. He had his surgery in January to get rid of his tonsils and adnoids. He has been great since!
Please FM me more questions.
