Sleep Problems 5.5 month old- Long HELP

I really need help. My once perfect night sleeper has turned into a newborn again!!
It started about a month ago. He cut his first tooth. He was having problems falling asleep so I started rocking him again. Then he started getting his second tooth, so I continued. We started night feeding again because he was refusing solids and I thought he may be hungry.
Then he got the stomach virus. This was a week ago. I knew he didn't feel well so I continued the rocking. Again with the not eating so we started night feedings. Now his poop is almost back to normal. I just started solids again today.
Last night was awful. He went to bed around 7:30. Woke up crying at 9. Rocked him back. He was up again at 2:30. I gave him 4oz. Put him back in crib awake. Normally he can get back to sleep himself. Instead... he cried. I waited then rocked him back. Took me an hour and a half.
I think I created a monster. I want to start CIO. But I'm afraid it will be mean if hes still uncomfortable from teething. I also do not want to do CIO until I know his stomach is back to normal and hes eating enough during the day. Any advice on how to handle this and what to make of it?
