Slave to the paci... anyone else??
DS is killing me. Every nap I am up there 2-3 times to put the paci back in before he falls asleep. Then sometimes I will have to go up during his nap to put it back in (if he has only been down for a short time). And at night, he is consistently up at least once between 3-5am and as soon as he gets the paci he goes right back down. I've tried putting more in the crib, but it doesn't matter.

It DOES pass.... eventually....
We went through that 2x, once with each DC. We tried everything. Putting 6 or more pacis in the crib, putting one in their mouth, and one in each hand... still didn't work. Once they are able to realize that if they grab it themselves and put it back, they can have it immediately, instead of waiting for you, life gets better....

Re: Slave to the paci... anyone else??
We are, 3 am every night for the past week it has been getting more consistent. I feel bad making her CIO b/c she does right back down with putting the paci back in for her.
I know she can put it in, but I think in the middle of the night she is too disoriented or something to put it back in on her own.

Yeah exactly, it's harder to listen to him cry then to just go up and put it back in.

How old is DS? It took Logan until about 6 1/2 months old to be able to do it night on his own! We have the binky roundup each night & put like 12 in there!

He is 6 1/2 months He has done it a few times on his own, but never during the night. He uses his arms like windshield wipers and they all end up above him or below him
