I would do a wet marinade comprised of lime juice, garlic, olive oil, soy sauce, scallions, cumin, a pinch of chili, a dash of red pepper and a little brown sugar.
Serve that with an avocado salad or in a fajita.. yum.

Not sure if I'm too late, but I always use Kikkoman Garlic and Herb marinade (it has a purple top and you can buy it in the regular supermarket). I used to buy it at the butcher all done and they finally told me their "marinading secret". It's awesome and now DH will only eat like this.

I have a seasoning mix that you are supposed to put in oil as a bread dipper...
I added some of it to EVOO, red wine, and a little water - it was such a delish marinade.
