Skin Reaction from Burts Bees lotion???
I used BB lotion last year until DD started getting dry patches over the summer (could have been sunscreen using too).
Sunday she wanted it on, so I put it on and monday she woke up crying, itchy, red and irritated exactly where I put it on legs and arms.
THANK GOD I DIDN'T COVER HER WHOLE BODY!
Anyone else have this?
She's better now thanks to some benedryl and cortizon cream

Never put it on DS, but I had a reaction to their face wash. I also tried the on the spot acne stuff and it was awful. I don't care for their products.

DD had a bad reaction to one of their body washes, so we don't use any of their products anymore.

Re: Skin Reaction from Burts Bees lotion???
last week I put some BB creme on his face (it had almond oil in it).
He instantaneously broke out into a rash. He looked like he had bright red burn marks on his face. He cried at first and I soothed it with a wet washcloth. Then he was fine but it took overnight to go away. I gave him benadryl just in case.
The next day I realized that i'm a moron...it said that it was hand creme. Not sure why I didn't realize that before I put it on his FACE...especially knowing that he has sensitive skin.
I also did some research online and it turns out that some of their products are too strong for infants and toddlers and can cause skin reactions.

You need to be careful with products like this. They often have many nut oils (ie Almond oil) in them. ANd you never know if your child has an allergy.
