Skechers Twinkle Toes?
So DD said she wanted these today. Apparently some of her friends have them. I had no idea what they were until I googled and I see they are by Skechers.
Anyone have these for their kids? Are they decent quality?

Re: Skechers Twinkle Toes?
My DD (2) had two pairs passed down to her (they were lightly used) and they have held up pretty well IMO.
DD loves them (I have to hide them from her otherwise, she has a melt down over not being able to wear them all the time).

Re: Skechers Twinkle Toes?
I see they come in larger sizes but I was kind of surprised she wanted them as she is 5. I thought they would be for younger kids.
But apparently a lot of girls in her K class have them. Who knew?

A coupe of dds friends have them. They're 3 and 2 1/2. They're just like converse that light up rhinestones.

Skechers Twinkle Toes?
Practically all the girls in my DD's prek class have them. She's been wearing them since Sept and they still look new. The only thing I don't like about them is that they're very hard on the inside. And my DD complains that her feet hurt after wearing them for most of the day. I don't let her wear them every day because of that reason.

Re: Skechers Twinkle Toes?
I usually get DD a new pair every year to match her bday outfit she then wears them through out the year. her bday is January and they still look good. the only issue I had with the pair I got her this year was that the laces got ruined but I think that might have been partially her fault.
right now she I mostly in a 11-11.5 but with the sketchers I bought I think I ended up with a 12 so she had room to grow in them. (but really cant go by me I never take her in to get feet measure I just buy a bunch of sizes and see which one fits well )
ETA: DD turned 5 this year so she is still in Prek - I will probably get her another pair next year when she is K

Skechers Twinkle Toes?
DD is in K and is 6- she saw these shoes at StrideRite and begged for them. She loves them. I think they're a bit obnoxious, but DD has her own style and I let her go with. A few other girls in her class have them. They seem to be popular. FYI- there is a little button on the side that you can turn the lights off.

not all of them have that switch. I was deciding between two pairs one had them the other didn't. the one I went with didn't have them

Re: Skechers Twinkle Toes?
my DD is in K too and a lot of the girls are still wearing them. I think they're adorable and had been buying her them since she could walk. I finally stopped because they're not cheap and hers look terrible after like a month and she has separated the Velcro on two different pairs.
That being said, how hard is your daughter on shoes? If she isn't too hard I'd go for them because they're so cute. My DD is crazy and falls all the time so she is insanely hard on shoes. Like I cant buy her the cute sparkly Childrens Places fuggs anymore and have to pay up for the real Uggs or they have holes in the bottom after 3 weeks. So she may be an outlier
FYI Nordstrom anniversary sale in July always includes them so you can get a pair for back to school!

She's semi hard on shoes, but can wear fake uggs no issue, so I guess we'll see! I see they have them at Kohl's and i have some rewards to use so maybe I'll consider it
Do they run true to size?

Skechers Twinkle Toes?
Dd just got a pair. I ordered them from kohl's with a 30 percent off code but I think they're still kind of pricey. I was disappointed with the lack of padding but this is the first sneakers I've gotten her that aren't stride rites. She lives them though and says they're comfortable. We're away and she's gotten so many comments wearing them in the hotel lol

My daughter only wants to wear these. She's had several. You can usually get at Marshall's, nordstorm off the rack or online on sale for like $23.
I've never thrown in the wash because of the lights but when she's done I scrub with a scrub brush and they look great. I then pass them down to my friends daughter.

Re: Skechers Twinkle Toes?
my dd is almost 4 and she has been wearing these since shes 1 1/2. We've had several pairs and they all last a really long time. good quality and they are all so cute !
ETA- they run true to size for the most part. Only one pair ran a little small, I guess because of the design/fabric? And I always throw them in the wash and they hold up fine !

Nervousnell- they're well made and yes true to size. Try Zulily or Kohl's for cheaper prices. Easy to put on, too!

Same :
Some of them are made now with the memory foam on the inside so I buy those, much more comfortable

My DD (4) wears them pretty much every day. They hold up as best they can on an active 4 yr old.
