Sizing help for Disney princess dress
Dd is a size 6 on average.
I want to order her the Elsa dress for Christmas. Do I get the 5/6 or the 7/8 so it will last longer?
She is 5 1/2 years old

I find that the Disney brand runs small. I always get a size bigger.

Sizing help for Disney princess dress
My DD is 5 and wears a size 5. I just got her the Sofia dress in a size 5/6 and its big on her. I would think it would fit a size 6 perfect.

7/8 will be huuuuuuge on her.
My DD is 6 and wears a size 7/8 in shirts so that's what size I bought for the Elsa dress and it's REALLY big on her. So much of it is dragging on the floor and it's loose everywhere.
In hindsight I wish I'd gotten the 5/6, she has a Merida dress that size and it fits beautifully.

I agree, my daughter wears a 6/7 and I got her the elsa dress for halloween. The 7/8 was so big on her, very loose in the chest/arm area and touching the ground, so long. Ordered the 5/6 and it was so much better. And still down to her feet.

My dd is 4, 5 next May and she's slim. We got her a 5/6 and I think it fits great plus room for growth.

My daughter is a size 12-13 for shoes. The disney shoes came in size 11/12 or 13/1. The 11/12 was too small and the 13/1 was way too big. We really needed a 12/13 lol. Hopefully you aren't in between sizes like my daughter.

Get the 7/8. My ddis 51/2 and a size 6. It fits her nicely. It comes down to just about the floor. Imo perfect size..
