Size question?

My daughter was born in Dec. 2006, She is 9 months old and wearing 18 month clothing right now. It seemed like she skipped 12 month size and went right to 18 month. She is growing so fast!

My question is... did mom's find that as their children have gotten older that they stay at one size for a while?

The other question is for Fall/Winter 2005 mom's, what size were your children in this summer?

I would love to buy ahead but since she been growing so fast I am hesitant.

DS is 13 months old and is wearing anywhere from 6 - 12 months clothes. I can not buy ahead for DS because he is so skinny.

Steven is 10 months and wearing 18-24 month pants and 24 month shirts. He has been this size since the beginning of the summer, when he was 7 months old . But, thankfully, they are still fitting him nicely and for the winter I bought the same sizes, and also some 24 months pants. For next spring and summer, I have been buying 2T.

She is in size 18 months right now. I probably would guess she would stay in 18-24 months for awhile. I am guessing once she starts walking, waist-wise she will probably stay the same size.

If I decide to buy ahead for the spring I will look at buying 2T.

Did any other moms find that their children stayed in 18-24 mo. longer?
