Size of Babies...
Is it proven that this is related to how big the mother was when she was born? I was about 6lbs when I was born. My DH was SUPER premature and only weighed 1lb 6oz at birth, so I can't really go by him. But his siblings ranged in the 7lb range.
I was just wondering if this was proven or just an old wives tale?

Well, I was 5lbs ?0z when I was born (premature) and my DH was 7lb 11oz and both my son's were over 10lbs almost 11lbs. So I don't think it always goes by the parents.

Oh dear I hope to G-d not. My mother didnt have a baby under 8 pounds. I was 9lbs and 8 ounces.
