Re: Sinus infection
What antibiotics are you on?
When I take a z-pack, usually by day 2 I start feeling relief. And that's because of the double dose the first day, so it's really at dose 3.
In the meantime, use warm compresses on your forehead and cheeks. Google draining sinus massage you can do yourself. Really helps get things moving.
I also take mucinex to help lessen all mucus - that seems to help. And I swear by the netti pot. The salt water helps sooth, remove mucus and reduces inflammation.
You can't taste because your sense of smell is 100% gone from mucus and inflammation. So all those things will help.
I get that every time I get sick. I'm on day 3 of a cold and by day 5, I lose my tastebuds. Hate it!!
Feel better

Use a Neil Med Sinus rinse to get the gunk out. Will help to start to clear things out.
