Signs of a misscarriage

So I think I'm crazy:-/ I can't shake me misscarrying out of my head. I'm 10 weeks and had morning sickness pretty bad up until today and now I'm worried something's wrong. My question is would I know if something was wrong? Like if the baby stopped growing, there was no heart beat? Do you have to be bleeding to be misscarrying? I'm sorry for t crazy post I just have this awful fear sitting on my shoulders I just can't seem to shakeChat Icon

Signs of a misscarriage

No you wouldnt know, and not having m/s anymore is not a sign that your baby stopped growing. You dont have to be bleeding to have a miscarriage either... Worrying about something you cant control makes it even worse...

I agree with this. I know this can be a scary time but try not to expect the worst. It can be hard to trust that everything is ok between appointments but worrying isn't going to help. Try to enjoy your pregnancy! Chat Icon

You don't have to be bleeding to be miscarrying because there is such a thing as a missed miscarriage, where you don't know the baby has stopped growing until the next sono or if a heartbeat is not detected BUT that being said, my OBGYN said that those types of miscarriages are MUCH less common than those that produces bleeding and cramping.

As someone who constantly worried (and posted) about lack of symptoms, trust me... try not to worry about whether you do or don't have symptoms and whether they've stopped. Symptoms come and go. it's normal. I'm almost 17 weeks and hardly had any symptoms at all. Easier said that done, but just try to relax and enjoy your pregnancy. Good luck!

At 10w the placenta begins to take over and your body is adjusting to higher hormone levels. It's pretty normal not the have m/s then.

I was fine 10w and then it came back weeks 11 and 12. Then went away (for good!) at 13w.

Worrying won't help the baby grow. Just try to relax. If you're not cramping or bleeding, then chances are everything is fine!

Please do not read into it to much. Ms starts to subside around that time. Chat Icon

Re: Signs of a misscarriage

There are no sure signs... women bleed and wind up having perfectly healthy pregnancies. Me personally, i miscarried - never bled or cramped and still "felt" pregnant. I only found out on a sonogram when there was no longer a HB. This pregnancy, my m/s went away at about 9wks and i SWORE something bad was happening again... here i am at almost 34 weeksChat Icon i know its so hard but you just have to try to relax and not think about it.Chat Icon
