Sick....

The little girl that I babysit for was sick all last week. She had a horrible cough, congestion, runny nose, etc.

Being that her Mom is a Single Mom and works all the way in Brooklyn, I take her even when she is sick. Luckily DD and Dh weren't really exposed much since they are out of the house all week.

But now I've been feeling congested for a few days and today my throat is killing me, super sore, and my ears hurt like I have an ear infection.

I am pretty sure she got me sick. I had to pick her up from school on Thursday and she was covered in mucus because she had a coughing fit and spit up all over herself, and I had to clean her up.

My problem is that I haven't had a primary care doctor in so many years. I had one that I went to a few times but I didn't like her at all. So I really haven't been to a primary in a long time.

Do I seek out a new primary care doctor for this?

Do I go to an urgent care place just to get a strep test and some antibiotics?

Do I call my OB and ask him what to do?

I probably should get some antibiotics bc I don't want this to get worse and to linger! I have a family to take care of!

I was sick 2 weeks ago and I initially called my OB, they then told me to go to my primary care doctor which I did and he prescribed me a Z-Pak.

I just called my OB...they are going to see me this afternoon at 2pm bc I explained that I don't really have a primary care doctor since I haven't been to one in years. Since I am PG they said it is OK for me to see them for colds.
