Sick
I've been home with the flu since Tuesday. I tried to go to work today but I couldn't make it through the whole day. DH had to cover my bball practice , and i'm hoping to make it through work and the team's game tomorrow.
My stomach is all weird and I have such pains in my sides, etc from getting sick. Does anyone have any tips on how to get better?

i've showered every day, been eating very light. But my stomach is just so weird and my sides are killing me from getting sick! My body just ACHES!! Is that normal?

Ugh thats the worst! i get the stomach flu once a year and the dr told me to go on the BRAT (I think Bananas, Rice, Apples, Toast) diet and absolutely no dairy for a few days until your stomach settles down.

Thanks everyone! All i've been doing is sleeping! It's so boring! I'm so lonely. DH comes home to check on me and i'm sleeping, and he tells me to keep sleeping and he'll see me later...but when he comes home later, i'm still sleeping or sleeping again... Ugh! I hate this being sick POOP! I'm ready to get better!
BRAT.. i'll have to check into that.. Thanks!

Forget the soup. Guiness is also good for you! I think Tom should be pouring you a glass of Guiness instead!

get better soon everyone is sick. nyquil always seems to work for me. and yes aches with the flu are very normal.
