Shutter Color

Hello,
We are residing the front of our house. We are getting the color harbor blue. What color shutters do you think go with the color? We have a white door and white trim. We were thinking about going with black shutters.

I am going crazy thinking about this color. We were going to side the house yellow but I am not happy with the color. I really like the black shutters but will it all go with my brown brick?

I would do black. My house is half brick (bottom half), half grey siding with black shutters (white front door, white garage door, and brick paver walkway.

This is how we bought the house, but I think it looks nice and we get compliments on curb appeal.

I think the harbor blue is in the same color family as the grey we have, so I think black would work best (and go well with the brick, too).

Dark brown would also work, too, if you are not sure about the black. Or even charcoal grey, if it's dark enough to create contrast against the blue.

I have gray siding and currently have maroon shutters. I am painting them black!

So funny because these are all colors I went back and forth on a few times! I ended up with more of a gray color with blue undertones, then blue shutters (similar to harbor blue). Still wonder every once in a while if I should have done yellow!

For what it's worth, I think those colors all would look fine with your bricks.
