shrinkxhips

Has anyone see the advertisements (or the product itself) for shrinkxhips. It is sold at babies r us, destination maternity (and pea in a pod, etc), target, etc. It is like this velcro looking band that sits around your hips and is supposed to help you return PP to your natural hip size. I figure it is just a gimmick but part of me is curious about it. wondering what everyone else thought.

I got it and I suppose it helped. BUT, its too narrow. When it was pulled tight, it smushes all your fat and skin above and below. I would have NEVER left the house wearing that under my pants. If you plan to wear dresses after pregnancy, maybe it would work. It says you have to wear it like 10 hours a day for it to work.

So, unless you look like the model on the cover of the package, I would not recommend.
