Shredded chicken-and freezing
Can I freeze it in ice cube trays? It's not pureed--just finely shredded.

I didn't put it in ice cube trays. I measured out a portion with a measuring cup (eg 1/3 cup) and then put that amount onto a small sheet of Glad Press and Seal and wrapped it up. I froze the individual little pouches and once frozen put them all into a big ziplock. I still do it this way when I make bbq shredded chicken for my DS.
