Showing sooner 2nd time around?

I know they say most people show sooner after having a baby, but how much sooner? I am only 8 weeks and look like I did when I was 4 months the first time around! I have only gained 1lb but my pants do not fit and I obviously have a baby bump! Rumors are going at work because I am "getting fat" and I am not ready to tell my whole office. Will this slow done or will continue to grow at a rapid rate?

This is my 2nd pregnancy as well and I was noticeably pregnant and in maternity pants by 8/9 weeks this time! I definitely "popped" early, but then it slowed down for a while. Though, now at 34 weeks, I am way bigger than I ever was with my first pregnancy!

I was so bloated from 6wks-8wks. I honestly looked like i was 5 months pregnant. It went down though and I'm 13wks and fit in my regular jeans just fine. The doctor did tell me though that you show a lot sooner after your first..

yes! I am pregnant with #2. 10 weeks tomorrow.
My grandma and friends ask me... are you sure its not twins? that im showing so much for 10 weeks.

ME, I also gained @ 8 lbs before the BFP, so that didnt help and Im 8 weeks 3 days.

I showed a little sooner the second time around. This time (my third) it's just ridiculous!

i was all bloat with #2 for about 2 months. I did pop a lot sooner with this one though. DS I popped about month 6, this one I popped at 4 months!

I do agree that you definately show sooner with your 2nd. People have made all kinds of comments because of how big I look this time around! It drives me nuts!

Yes! It's insane to me that I look so much bigger this time.. I do get bloating, I know the difference, and it's definitely not all bloating. I feel like my muscles are weaker and stretched out from last time, so they just aren't keeping it all in like the first time. I'm going to bring it up to my doctor though, bc I'm so big at 9 weeks I hope nothing is wrong.

This is true but not in my case Im smaller this time around then with my first. Maybe cause this one is a boy who knows

I had to google 11 week pictures because I thought there was something wrong with me!

At 11 weeks, I look like I did at 5-6 months last time.

I think I felt more bloated and my boobs got much bigger faster-- but, my belly is growing at the same rate. I'm 24 weeks today and look the same as last time-- which is barely looking pregnant because of how I carry-- it's all spread out. Though I think I feel more like a fat arse now.
