Shower Theme
So I picked my shower theme before I knew what bedding I was going to use.
I love monkeys and thought I might have a monkey/jungle bedding for babygirl...so the inviation is a monkey, cookie favors will be monkey faces and onesies with monkeys, and I think the cake will also go with the theme...plus decorations.
I just recently picked the bedding. It's purple butterflies (Cocolo sugar plum).
Is this weird? I feel like everyone's shower themes relates to their bedding...
Anyone have a theme that is different?

Hmmmm...not necessarily. It's really whatever you want. I don't think people will buy things in relation to your theme you show on your invitation. But I do love that bedding!

My SIL had monkey bedding for her DS and a bird/nature theme for her shower. I don't think anyone noticed or cared.

My bedding theme is sea turtles and it is nearly impossible to find anything for a shower. I wanted to match my bedding for the shower but I really think I am going to have to change my theme. I was thinking of changing to giraffes and monkeys maybe even an elephant and lion who knows lol. Anyway I think it's fine. I don't think anyone will even notice that your theme doesn't match your bedding besides you. And on top of it I think the Cookie Lady's cutest cookie is the onsie with the monkey and I know you are using her so you can't go wrong.
