I think it's "tradition" to send the hostess flowers the day before the shower to thank her.

really??? what if it's at a restaurant? i literally have 7 or 8 people working together to 'throw' my shower and it's at a restaurant...

That is a nice idea. I think I will do that. My mom and mil are giving me the shower so that would be nice to do.

Godo question -- I've only had one hostess showers so my BTDT friends were the ones that told me.
If there were multiple hostesses, I would probably send them all a small thing of flowers.
