he'll be there. i have attention issues, so he'll be there to take some attention away from me, as he did at the bridal shower....
he tends to be the life of the party though - he loves it!

But my mother is having a join shower for me and my sister...being were only 2 weeks apart!

If he wanted to be there, I wouldn't have a problem with it -
But he has no interest. - He'll hang out w/ my Dad and my sis's BF and go have a steak somewhere and then they'll come at the end to load the cars !!

My DH was there along with my father and his father, they were all great. It was in a small hall and all three of them help in the kitchen

Dh dropped me off then left - he came back when I was opening gifts and had cake with us and stayed until the end - but basically I think he went out to lunch with my dad and they both came back after. This gave us the girl time - but he still got to see the gifts and have some cake.

Nope.
My DH had the husbands/boyfriends of women who are good friends and of relatives who came from OOT over here at the house for lunch.
When the shower was coming to an end, we called him and the guys and they came to the restaurant and helped pack the cars.
ETA: DH and my inlaws drove me there. I thought I was going to a party for one of his relatives.
He basically walked in, said "Hi" and left.

Our shower was co-ed...and all the man had to bring a package of diapers with me...turned out quite a few guys came..including my dad and bros...which was really nice...

I really wish Dh would show up.. He plans on Golfing.. My shower is at the Carltin so thats where he golfs anyway,,,I think he will stroll in about an hour b4 it ends..
