shower dress with pic...and a few questions!
My shower is in 3 weeks and the next few weekends I am real busy...So I really wanted to get a shower outfit now before I ran out of time.
I went with DH to destination maternity today and almost all of the dresses made me look like a freakin house! My belly goes out so much that most of the dresses made me look HUGE. DH and I both liked this one...I hope it is ok. I would really prefer a cute top with pants but I didnt really see anything there that would fit me right.
What do you think?
Also, A few questions...
1. Do you think if it fits me now it will fit me then?? (I will be one day shy of 33 weeks at my shower)
2. How should I accessorize? I don't have any shoes as of yet so if you have pics of shoes that would be great. Also...I dont like the idea of wearing flats with a dress so I will need a bit of a heel.

I have that dress! It should still fit you in 3 weeks. I wore a short heel with it and silver jewelry to a wedding.

I love it and I think that style would definitely fit you then...seems like it would have some "give" to it.
As for a shoe... in 3 weeks, it should be warmer, so I'd go for an open toed heeled sandal..
Here's what I suggest as far as accessories....
since you are having a boy... I would go with some chunky blue colored jewelry... like this:

It's NY and Company... so pretty inexpensive.. and there's always a NY and Co. around so easy for you to get there! Otherwise, I would even go with some chunky turquoise jewelry... just something bright and blue-toned.

also... kohls.com has a ton of jewelry that is similar... just look under fashion jewelry, then search the color blue.

I think it will fit for sure. I would wear some sort of a wedge so you have the height but not the heel.

I have given up on shower dress shopping too! I am the same way, I look huge in dresses 
I ended up with something similar and also in black. I still have to get shoes and accessories and perhaps a cardiagan. I love the idea of blue or turqoise jewlery - I think you will look great!

I just got that dress for work.
It fits great and I love the fact that it doesn't make me look like a house.
The front panelling hides a lot.
Good choice!

Just crashing, but I wore that dress for a cousin's Bar Mitzvah and lent it to a friend who was 38 weeks prego to a wedding. It was great and fits so well.

thanks ladies. Hopefully it will work out, it IS a nice dress...and SO cheap! It was only 30 bucks!!! I even tried on all the expensive pea in the pod dresses and they didnt fit me as well.
