Shower decision help needed...
I am having such a hard time making a decision on shower dates with my mom. On top of it I'm soooo emotional!! Wondering if you ladies would mind giving me some opinions.
Scenario: we have 2 date options: 31 wks (july) 34wks (aug) The 31wk is the day after our anniv. And DH would like to take somewhere me over night. We wondered if that would be a rush to get back...(this may sound soo silly...this is where I need opinions with hormones in full force)
The 34wk kind of just feels right...not too close but not too far....ughhh noo clue. I seriously couldnt sleep at all thinking about this bc I know it has to be booked. I think it's hard bc really, you have no clue what's right, what to expect. I'm sorry this is annoying...I know I'm over analyzing.
Any advice/opinions are appreciated!!

Shower decision help needed...
If you are going away for your anniversary then I would suggest doing it on at 34 weeks. I'm 30 weeks tomorrow and know that the way I am feeling I am not going to wait to go away and then rush back. I try to limit myself to one thing per weekend so I'm not totally exhausted come Monday. 34 weeks is not too close to your due date but I wouldn't make it any later then that.
So I would say go with the 34 weeks...follow your gut!

I'm having mine at 34 weeks. We were limited due to other family obligations so it was either that, or 4th of July weekend.

34 weeks is a good time! if you are planning to go away then discard the 31 week date

As long as this is not a high risk pregnancy and you currently have no known risk factors that may lead you to delivering earlier than planned, then I'd say go for 34 weeks!

I had mine at 34 weeks and felt it was perfect.
I wouldn't have wanted all that stuff sitting around my house any earlier.

I was 34 weeks when I had my shower. I felt great -- though you do tend to get really hot opening presents.
