Shower caps...
Can someone please explain to me how to use a shower cap? I know this seems like a ridiculous question, but I honestly have no idea. Everytime I try to use one I still end up getting my hair wet!!
I can't stand showering and not washing my hair.. I never feel completely clean when I don't wash my hair, but I know it isn't good to wash it every day.

it takes me a little over an hour to blow out my hair, so I use a shower cap.
Also, I do my hair often at night, but jump in the shower for a quick rinse in the morning, use the cap for that.
At lunch, I run to the gym, don't have the time to wash my hair, so I use the cap. I wish I could wash it, but no time to do it then.

funny topic  I think the key point is to make sure you put the cap over your ears as well. I also cover my ears to get al my hair, otherwise my hair gets all wet.

I find that the ones with plastic on the outside and cloth on the inside (instead of all plastic) keep my hair dryer and don't make my head sweat!! 
I tend to wash every other day, so they help out a lot in the mornings.
For a couple extra bucks you can buy the "nicer" ones at CVS and they can also be machine washed.

It takes me a good hour to blown mine out too.. that's why it is in a messy bun pretty much everyday..lol If I do dry it at night, when I take a shower in the morning I have to make sure I take the shower head down and hold it the whole time so I don't let any water get above my neck.

I read a good tip in a magazine one time that it's better to wrap a towel around your hair if you don't want it to get wet. So I just do that. I could never figure out the whole shower cap thing, either. haha

Me too. But I try to skip a washing here and there. I usually pull the cap down past my ears. For me it is impossible not to get the hair at the top of my neck slightly wet.

I'll have to check it out... Everytime I bring it way down I get out of the shower with a mark around my head from the elastic!!

Make sure you get a big enough one to cover everything. I have bought ones that were too small and got the back of my hair wet. They come in different sizes.

EXACTLY! It drives me crazy! Cause then I get out of the shower and that hair gets the rest of my hair wet!! Uck, I'm aggravated thinking about it..

oh no, I have big older ladies ones. I can't use the generic ones. It is kind of a marshmellow top, they are so big.

put on a head band and clip your hair up on top of your head and get one of those big shower caps from cvs or something....
