Show Me Your....
Sewing/Craft Spaces!!!
We are moving from our cramped one br apt to a 4 br house in around May.
I want to make the most of our new space and would love some ideas for my sewing/craft room!

I have seen some great ideas on pinterest...
What types of crafting do you do?
My DH and I shared a room (which is now being converted into the baby's bedroom/nursery) and I had a large table/chair in there, and baskets to hold my craft supplies. But it wasn't anything too exciting.
I'd love to take advantage of more wall space to clear the table space off for more real crafting...and I've seen some cool ideas for holding ribbon, yarn, etc on pinterest...

Here are some of the ideas that I liked...
You store your supplies in the frame and it folds out as a table, but when you aren't using it as a table it folds back up and just looks like framed art...
I love the idea of using wall space to store things instead of having them take up furniture/floor space
I just think this is beautiful:
Love this idea for things like pins, needles, buttons, etc.
I crochet and I thought this was a beautiful way to store/organize/display yarn --- I'd love to keep a big basket or bowl on top with whatever my current project is, and in the drawers I could store all of the smaller supplies that I use such as hooks, needles, buttons, etc.

I need a space for my sewing machine and fabric and I do a lot of crocheting/knitting, and cross stitch. I have a bunch of other random craft nonsense as well.
I need to come up with really good space saving solutions. I was going to have my own room for my stuff but now that I'm pregnant DH has to share his guitar room with me, lol, the new baby is getting the room I was going to use as a nursery.
I really like the idea of the almost murphy-bed-like table and cabinet.

HAHA---Dh and I shared our room also...I had my craft table in there and he had his guitars (all 7 of them!), amp, effects, album collection of several hundred, 2nd entertainment system...etc.
He's been cleaning out the room for months and it will definately NOT be ready when this baby is born on Monday.
HIs guitars/etc are going to be very "homeless" and he is not happy about it!

So we're in the same boat!
To add to the chaos, the room he is getting for his guitars and equip. is also the guest room, lol.
It's going to be crowded
