Should we or Shouldn't we.... regarding dr b...
SOOO... I have a Dr B appt tomorrow....
We are also doing Deanna's plan... today is CD8.... which is the first of the cycle. Should we hold off and tomorrow instead since I have the Dr B appt tomorrow? I just remember posters saying they don't before doctor's appts like that.... so now i feel uncomfortable....
I don't know what to expect tomorrow either... any pointers???

Re: Should we or Shouldn't we.... regarding dr b...
We used to before our appts with Dr. B all the time. The only time we wouldn't before a Dr. appt was if i was seeing my regular OB for a pap.
As far as what to expect from Dr. B. I am guessing this is your first visit so it's a consult right? He will ask you a bunch of questions about your medical history and tell you what he thinks would be the best way to go for you. But he can't really tell you too much until he gets a better understanding of what is going on. he is super nice, and very easy to talk to. He won't rush you. he might be typing on his black berry a lot but believe me he is listening to you. I don't know if he will do bloodwork or a sono. he didn't on my first appointment. He wanted me to come back when i got my period for CD3 bloodwork and a sono. Hope this helps! Good luck!

Re: Should we or Shouldn't we.... regarding dr b...
we always regardless of dr. B appointments. i mean he was the one to tell us when to go home and so im sure none of the swimmers interfere with what he has to do in there .
anyway like the PP said if it is your first appointment you may or may not have bloodwork and sono. i did, but i was on like CD60 so we knew it would take provera to get me to CD3. you will def have a consult. he is one of the nicest people in the world. you will prob have more questions after the appointment then before. i would bring any past history info that you have and any O charts or any other data that you have about your cycles. otherwise he will be the one asking you questions so don't sweat it .
where is your appt? is it at AFS in the city? i will be there tomorrow afternoon for monitoring from Dr. B for my IVF cycle.
good luck!!

Dr.B will eventually tell you specifically to before appts...... Basically when you're stimming he will tell you to the day before you come in for monitoring!
As for what to expect.. the others have covered it pretty well
