Should I call the PED???

Today was another bad day with Chrsitopher. He NEVER cries of gas pains during the morning or afternoon, just at night.
He has started again, and it was really bad that his face turns so red.
He was on Zantac...she thought he might have a touch of reflux, that is NOT working, and she recommended putting rice cereal in his bottle to settle his stomach, and he spit that up even more. I tried giving him Enfamil A.R, and he kept it down, but I found that he was getting MORE gas from it and having MORE bowle movements.
So I just put him back on his old formula the Nutramigen.
I just want him to be happy ALL day, not just when Im playing with him. I keep comparing him to Matthew who smiles and laughs and can sit there for hours and NOT cry. Whereas Christopher can be sitting in his bouncy seat and he literally cant sit still, he constantly moves his hands and legs like he is crawaling out of his skin.
Also when I feed him it takes an hourChat Icon because he cries and he feels like his chest has fluid in it(could it be a gas pocket) because after I burp him it goes away.
Im just afraid there is more to it than colic/reflux??Chat Icon
My MIL is on my butt about callinh anaother PED and getting a second opinion.

well his first and favarite word to say is "ah boo" when he is in a good mood

Honestly - do you feel like he needs to be seen by another doctor?
Do you feel that they are correct in diagnotic him?

My opinion is, I think since you have had him on so many other formulas and he doesn't seem to be getting better - I think you need to get to the bottom of what is making him feel rotten Chat Icon Chat Icon

I really dont have to much advise except that I use Enfamil A.R. but will only use the RTF. I notice that the powder version is hard to mix and gets alot of air bubbles. Have you tired giving him Mylcon? Also, I am not sure what bottles you use but I switched from Playtex to Avent to Dr.Browns and their is never any gas bubbles in the Dr. Brown bolttles. I also read that you should keep the top off when you warm the bottle so I unscrew the nipple ring and take it completely off. I am not really sure if any of this will help.
I would keep calling the Dr. until they found a solution. If it doesnt get better what about taking him to a ped. gi doctor?

I tried the Mylicon drops and they dont work. I use the Dr. Browns bottles and only use the ready made formula.

Is that a Gastro-intestinal ped??
Maybe I should look into that and call one
Anyone know of any good ones??
