should i be worried?

joseph turned 6 wks on Monday and i know they go thru growth spurts now. today he ate a normal feeding @ 4:40AM and since then he's only had 6 minutes @ 8:30 and 6 minutes @ 10. And he just seems to want to sleep.

Don't worry. Alex did the same thing a few days ago. One day she ate like a maniac and absolutely refused to sleep. The next two days all she did was sleep and hardly ate anything at all during the day. Now she's back to eating like a maniac and no sleep. I think it's just the growth spurt as it ebbs and flows... nothing to worry about.

thanks Beth....i worry too much w/ this bf'ing thing. i feel so out of control w/ ot since i dom't know for sure if he's getting enough. and pumping went out the window

I find that when Emily is going through what I think is a growth spurt (she seems to do them a week ahead of time) she does a LOT of sleeping one day, then a LOT of eating the next.

nothing since....AND he's sleeping again

We went for a reflux check up today and he's 11lbs 12oz 23" so I guess he's getting enough - lol! 4lbs in 6 weeks!

Definitely sounds like a growth spurt to me!
