Should I be nervous...

I'm 19 weeks today and I haven't felt the baby yet. I read all the other posts and some girls felt it as early as 14-16 weeks. I heard his/her heartbeat the other day but I'm still nervous. Am I just being silly? TIA

No way- it's still a bit early. I didn't feel ANYTHING at all until 21 weeks.

USUALLY those who feel their babies early are not first time mommies and know what they're feeling early on.

It's the feeling we all wait to expect. There are many factors in feeling the baby. I was told that being overweight can make it take longer. I've heard some girls not feeling it until their in the 20th week and beyond. Many who feel it early are on their 2nd pregnancy!

Nooo - I didn't really feel the baby until around 21-22 weeks. I did feel slight flutters but at the time didn't know what they were. You will feel it soon enough!

Thanks. I feel better. Hopefully I will start feeling something soon and then I can stop worrying.

I don't think you are being silly at all Feeling the kicks or any movement makes the pg that much more real for us.

I didn't notice flutters until I was 19 weeks, and I think I only noticed them b/c I was home sick, in bed, and not doing anything...I don't think I would have noticed if I had been up & about. I don't remember when I felt bigger movements, but it was a couple of weeks later.

Baby will be kicking you in no time!

My flutters started at 18 weeks and then subsided a little. Now I feel a faint kick here and there behind my belly button, every few days. That's it though.

I didn't feel anything until about 21 weeks, so I woudln't worry! The position of the placenta could also be keeping you from feeling anything just yet.
