should i be concerned? *UPDATED*

Satruday i had a slight pain all day on my right side, just in one spot. yesterday the pain was gone. But a couple of times yesterday and then this mornning i noticed a very very slight tinge of pink when i wipe (sorry, TMI Chat Icon )

I feel fine otherwise...

UPDATE: So I didn't have any more sign of anything all day monday or all day yesterday. But then last night I saw blood, so i called the dr. and he sent me over to Winthrop at 11pm. The babies heartbeat was fine, they think i had a couple of contractions and ran all sorts of blood work but everything seemed fine. Now i'm so freaked out that every twinge i have i think i'm having a contraction, even though i didn't feel the ones i had last night. Chat Icon

Sorry if TMI--but did you BD at all? I get pains sometimes afterwards and have had light spotting and my doctor said its normal. I wouldn't worry about it, but if bleeding/pain continues or gets BRIGHT RED I would definately call the doctor.

Re: should i be concerned?

if you have any more spotting, def call your dr, i was spotting on and off all last week and it wasnt alot, but when i went to my dr appt last fri she was very concerned and said she does not think spotting is OK at all and said i should have called last weekend when i first saw it, she then sent me for stat bloodwork and it came back that my progesterine levels are really low which is NOT good for the baby and i am now on progesterine pills, i am sure what you are experiencing is fine but i wish i had went to my dr when i first saw the spotting, now i have to pray that the baby is OK when i have my first sono tomorrow, my doctor felt if we would have known sooner i could have started the pills sooner. I dont mean to scare you just know i wish someone had told me to call my doctor right away

We rushed my SIL to the hospital at 18 wks with the same problem. After a long night in the hospital, she was fine.

She is now waiting to give birth any day.

Hang in there Laura- everything will be fine.Chat Icon
