Should I be annoyed??

Folks at my office are starting say things like “Wow, you really are showing” and “You’ve really put that weight on”

Here’s my beef. I do have a belly, yes. I know it shows more since I use maternity pants so I’m not ‘tucked’ in, yes. But I have (to date) only gained a half a pound. As in not even a full pound.

How do I look fat?
How do I look big?

My god what’s it going to be like when I really pack it on!?

Am I just being too sensitive?

Unfortunately, once you are pregnant people lose all sense of what's appropriate to say. It's probably a combination of you being sensitive and them being insensitive. I definitely understand your being annoyed though. I can't even walk to and from the bathroom these days without comments about how big I am and belly-patting gestures, etc.

People say stupid things without thinking. I gained very little weight throughout my pg, but still had a good size belly by the end. I also noticed when I wore maternity pants my stomach def looked bigger than when I was wearing reg pants that cut me at the waist.

Just let the comments roll off your back b/c unfortunately you'll prob hear a lot more before the end.

I had to deal with the same nonsense at work! I would see someone one day and she would say "wow your getting big" and then the following day would say "holy cow look at you" (Ummm hello I do not think its humanly possible to have that much of a change in 24hrs)!

When I could not take the constant comments anymore I began responding "I am sorry am I supposed to look small/tiny...I am pregnant?!? They definitely backed off after hearing that!
