Shorts
Do you wear them?
If you wear them what kind (fabric, waist, length) do you wear?
I know several women, including me, in their late 30s who just don't wear them anymore. They all wear capris, skirts or dresses in the summer (including me). I have 2 pairs, one cutoff jeans (must have been desperate LOL) and 1 athletic type for workouts.
I feel like I need at least one pair for outdoor activities with the kids like biking or hiking. I'm comfortable with my size and weight, but I'm super short and have short legs so I feel like I don't look good in them. I'm thinking something similar to my cargo-type capris would look best. Thoughts?

Re: Shorts
I know what you mean. I feel like lately all the shorts have been too short and more geared for teens or people in their 20's I just posted on another thread about how Victoria's Secret is now offering 4 lengths in some of their shorts... 3 inch, 5 inch, 7 inch or 9 inch inseam. I ordered a pair in 7 inch and they are perfect! Not too short and not too long where they hit the knee. I am tall too. They cover my thighs which I like!
Also, I got a pair from VS like you describe- kind of cargo-ish- and they only came in 9 inch inseam so they are longer, like to the knee, but they look cute..

Re: Shorts
I do, but I have a lot of trouble finding shorts that fit me. I have a small waist, big butt and VERY thick upper thighs. Shorts all seem to be too short for me and litelerally cut off circulation to my thighs because they arent wide enough in the leg hole.
I have one pair from H&M that fit well. That's it. I havent been able to find ANY others that fit right.

Re: Shorts
I find Loft makes shorts that fit me well. I'm short also, with a small waist but hips and thick upper thighs and I have been successful with varying types of shorts at Loft - not too short at all and they make some of their shorts with a wider leg so they are more flattering. I recently got a pair of black shorts there in a khaki-ish material that sound like what you're looking for.

Re: Shorts
I know exactly what you mean. But I wear them almost exclusively while on vacation. Since I was in DR last week, I picked up a few pairs of shorts from Target. I got 2 twill pairs (khaki and black) and a pair of denim shorts. I got the shorty shorts, but Target did have longer lengths so I'd check them out!
