shoppers I need bedding and curtain HELP!
I painted our new bedroom Milk Chocolate, DH HATES it. "It's too dark"
So, maybe creams and whites wont be so dark with bedding curtains and acc.
Please help me. Price not so much an issue. DH needs SUPER SUPER soft sheets. He has "itchy skin". Any ideas would be great.

our bedroom is dark brown, but we also have dark bedding. If I was going to purchase new lighter bedding for it this would be it (from west elm)

I have no recs on bedding but get the Jersey Beech sheets from BBB.
I swear on my life - these are the softest sheets EVER. Buy them, your DH will love you and the color of the room.

How about stuff that looks like these:
The common thread I'm noticing is LIGHT window coverings...
As far as soft sheets & blankies, I got my sheets on overstock (they're like 600 TC Egyptian cotton  ) and then and my blanket I got at Target and its SOOOOOOOOOOO soft and cozy.

totally agree with the whites or creams for the bedding & curtains. Some white/cream frames or decor on the walls and/or the furniture. Sheers on the windows and you will be fine. And of course those nice soft sheets for the hubby. 
There is someone on here that has a brown bedroom, but I don't remember her name. Anyone know who I'm talking about? It's gorgeous!

I think there are two - Chatham-Chick and skew - I'm not positive about skew though....
ETA: I think it's Chatham-Chic? I have no idea...

I hope these help to inspire you and DH. I know it's not a bedroom, but you get the idea of the whites. And of course pleny of lighting in the room will not make it feel so dark
Maybe some decor like this.
I'm not sure if this is a brown or a gray.

Love this set. BBB has curtains to match this exactly. I don't see them online but I was in the store yesterday and they had them. I have chocolate walls and ivory curtains with a zebra duvet (bedding set shown below from Pottery Barn...mines is from overstock but looks exactly the same). I looove the chocolate walls. I think it's so elegant. I also have a taupe tufted headboard so my room looks alot like the one below..Image Attachment(s):

CC has the brown bedroom, I have the brown powder room.
I agree with selecting a very neutral color (ivory, white) bedding. Add some accent colors (light blue or red) and ccessorize with some cute mercury or pewter pieces.

LOL, I have a feeling JldDolphin is thinking of another poster and I can see her bedroom in my head, but I can't recall her name. She has cream colored furniture....off to try and find the poster and her room!
