Shoe sizes - what to buy next?
My 14 month old son currently wear size 6.5 Stride Rite shoes. (Yep he has big feet. ) I was going to go ahead and buy another pair in advance online since I had a coupon for Shoebuy - should I buy 7 or do you advance up to 7.5?
Or do you recommend against buying in advance? How do you typically go about buying shoes?
Also, I would love to get your recommendations on any other cheaper good shoe brands besides Stride Rite.
Thank you!

I would just take him to get his foot measure real quick and then order shoes online.

I go to stride rite & I was told if you are getting sneakers, always go a 1/2 size higher than what they measure, so, keep that in mind.

Re: Shoe sizes - what to buy next?
i find buying shoes ahead of time really hard keeping in mind seasons and all. that being said, i refuse to pay full price for anything, so i do it anyway...but only for items that can be more or less worn year round, like sneakers. i buy 1/2 - 1 size up depending on how DD's feet are fitting her current shoes (which is always so hard to tell).
i was a stride rite wh0re once DD first started to walk until about 22 months or so, but i always bought them at marshalls. once i started to branch out to other brands, i just felt the shoe to see how it bends, if it seems flexible and sturdy enough i snagged it (for $15-$20 at marshalls it's worth a shot).
i recently got a willits/euro shoe hookup at wholesale prices, and i like the shoes. but they look like they are on the pricey side online...

Thanks!! This is great to know! I also hate the thought of having to buy at full price which is what I had to do with the last pair because I needed them right away. I was hoping to avoid that next time esp since it's seems like so much money for something that's worn for a short amount of time but we all buy it of course understandably since we want to make sure our DC's feet are developing fine.
