She's always hungry!
We recently(about 3 weeks ago) switched Miss Lilly to Nutro Sensitive Stomach (I know, I know, not the *best* quality food, but she enjoys it and is doing well on it). She wants to eat ALL the time! We are feeding her a cup and a half of kibble a day. If we give her anything less than that, she throw tantrums (i.e. nosing her food dish all around the kitchen, actually BRINGING us her dish, knocking it over, etc...). We feed her in the morning, afternoon and evening (1/2 cup at a time).
Is this too much food for her? She is not gaining weight (she's been at 12 pounds for the past 2 months -I think it's her ideal weight, although my parents commented that she looked skinnier the last time they saw her), and we go for at least an hour walk each day.
I guess I'm worried about over-feeding. There will be times when she'll top eating and finish her meal like an hour later. When that happens, she doesn't turn into the raging hungry monster that she can be at times.
Could she be going through a growth spurt that's making her so hungry? She'll be one at the end of the month.

ther should be a chart on the back of the bag of food telling you how much to feed your dog....they have alot of information there.
