She really listened to us!!!
Lilly was on one of her not-sleeping-through-the-night kicks which she goes through every now and then. She'll sleep for a while and then wake us up to go potty or to get a drink.
After our accident, she's been a beast about waking us up at all hours of the night.
Last night right before bed, we had a "sit-down" with the pup. We told her that Mommy and Daddy are very tired and need a good night's sleep and if she would just sleep through the night, we would be VERY happy!
Wouldn't you know that she went under covers and DID NOT MOVE the ENTIRE night! Literally - she stayed in one spot fot whole night. No wiggling around, no iggy shakes, just layed in one spot.
Again, I swear that she's part human. I didn't post about this, but after our accident, we couldn't really bend down to pick her up and she must have sensed that, so she would hop up onto our tallest armchair so we could pick her up without having to bend down.
Simply amazing.

awwww Lilly!!! She is the coolest.
Nugget, our cat, could give two craps about whether my back is bothering me. He rubs against my legs and meows, which usually means he wants to be picked up and snuggled. He still continues to do this, even though he must have realized that I haven't been able to pick him up for the past like, 20 weeks.
Either he doesn't realize that I have a bad back, or he doesn't care...most likely the latter

That's great.  I hope it lasts. I've been losing sleep because of my doggie lately too. It takes a toll after a while!
