shaving ur legs...
anyone else dread it?
Here I am at 37 weeks, afraid I will go into labor at anytime, needing to desperately shave my legs, but the thought of it makes me want to take a nap.

Re: shaving ur legs...
I'm not as far along as you... and I'm struggling with shaving my legs and the vag as well.
I also DREAD going into labor without a clean shaven everything.... AND being showered with hair and makeup done!!
Ha... I've even thought about jumping straight into the shower the second I feel like I'm in labor!!!

Re: shaving ur legs...
The only thing that I find works for me is sitting in a warm bath (not too hot, of course) and doing it that way. I have to say something strange has happened this pregnancy, though -- my leg hair grows much slower than normal!

I can get away with shaving only once a week! I swear since being PG my leg hair has stopped growing. It's very wierd. But when I do have to do it, I dread it.

Re: shaving ur legs...
We have a shower that doesn't have any ledges (separate bath tub in our bathroom) and shaving at the end was IMPOSSIBLE!!! I ended up shaving at the gym because they had little step stools in the showers, and sometimes I'd take our plastic step stool into the shower with me.
I found this on amazon and ordered it with my registry completion coupon the other day and it is AWESOME:
Mommy's Helper Safer Grip Foot Rest
I wish I'd had it during my pregnancy! I actually went to Bed Bath & Beyond looking for something like this and I got the "crazy pregnant woman" look from the people there when I asked. But it's an awesome item if you don't have anywhere to put your foot up in your shower. I wanted to mention it so it can help others!

Because I had my sonogram on Wednesday, I was saving my good shave for my internal for Thursday. It didn't happen that way but it was all good. I really didn't care, I just wanted the baby out of me.
On a side note, I always have in the back of my mind that "they've seen much worse."
