Sharp Pains in lower back

I just started getting sharp pains on the left side of my lower back.

Is that normal at 7 weeks?

I feel fine otherwise, the sharp pains come and go and I also feel it on the left side of my uterus as well. Is this something I should be concerned with? Chat Icon

Doc said that as long as they come and go, u should be fine... just uterine stretching cramps. Of course, G*d forbid should any spotting come... head directly to the ER....

Could it be sharp gas pains? With the added Progesterone in your body, your digestive system slows down a lot. This can cause digestive issues and added gas and bloating.

Another cause can be the ligaments stretching your uteris out. It may be that the left side is more tender and you feel it more than the right.

Either way, if it gets very painful or persists, I'd call the doctor just to be extra safe. Let them tell you its nothing so you feel calmed.

It doesn't feel like gas. Just a pain, can't explain it but it definitely comes and goes I don't feel it often.

I just went to the bathroom but thank goodness, no spotting or anything.

I guess this is normal. I do remember my doctor said any feeling is normal as long as there is no blood.
