Sharp pain down my butt-bone!
Has this happened to anyone in their 1st tri. It's like a sharp pain going down ny butt bone that literally just made me jump out of my seat! I just got up to grab a drink and it happened again!

Sounds like sciatica. I started getting sciatica around 14 weeks
me too...it usually happens when i get up after laying down or sitting for a while...stretching helps a little.

Def sounds like sciatica...but it affects us all differently. Even though your sister was miserable, you may not feel that way. I had it bad in 1st Tri and went away all 2nd...No I'm almost 32 weeks and it's creeping back.
I got myself to a Chiropractor as soon as it started and they helped me so much. Also i get prenatal massages every 2 weeks through my Chiro's office (using my insurance).

i've had sciatica since 9w. i hope yours goes away. some days i barely feel it and other days I can't walk w/o holding on to something (i should use a cane those days but I won't give in!).
