shark steam vac on laminate?

i just bought one because it was a great deal but now im not so sure about it on laminate?

has anyone done it? will it eventually warp laminate? might return it

i have it and love it, but only use it on my tile....I wouldn't dare use it on my laminate.....I use Bruce once a week with a microfiber towel thingy.

my mom did mention that she uses white vinegar on her pergo, and swears by it.....but I still can't get up the b@lls to try it.

I almost jumped on the walmart deal this morning, but didn't when I googled and read that unless your laminate says "waterproof," it can get between the boards and warp the floors. I wouldn't chance it unless your laminate was very $$$$ and guaranteed waterproof.

I've been using it on my laminates for 5 months now; no warping at all. I do live in a rental so I'm assuming the flooring isn't $$$$.
