Sharing a smaller room
Hi all!
When DC#3 comes DD1&2 will be sharing a room, at least for awhile. As of now, DD1 (3 yrs) is (supposed to be) in a toddler bed (when she's not sleeping in my bed ), DD2 (18m) is sleeping in her crib.
DD1's room is a bit larger- but most of the wall space is taken up with huge windows (6 feet wide) on one side and a closet with bifold doors (4.5') on the other.
I'm trying to use floorplan.com to figure out a way to arrange the furniture and I'm freaking out because it doesn't seem possible without bunk beds (which they are both still too young for)
I think it will be okay with a crib and toddler bed- but I don't know what I'll do when they both need twin beds (DD1 may be switching as soon as this summer because I think the toddler bed is too small for her).
Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions or pictures of rooms with 2 twin beds- please help me out!
You can see how low to the floor the windows are in this pic:

Re: Sharing a smaller room
I can't get a great perspective of the room, but my girls share a room with two twin beds and their window is in the same position (they actually have 3 though--one on each wall and then the door on the 4th wall). DD1's bed is in the same position as the crib--the head is alongside the window. DD2's bed is where your dresser now is. It runs along the back wall just like that and goes under the window at the very end of the bed. HTH!

Can you put the toddler bed where the dresser is now, and the dresser at the foot of the crib? Or next to the closet?

It probably isn't ideal when they are so little but would a trundle bed be an option?
