Do you buy special "kid" hair products or do they just use the same shampoo/conditioner you use? DC is 4

I use loreal kids. My 4yo would flip if she got regular shampoo in her eyes. However the baby stuff doesn't cut it anymore since her hair is long and will tangle without s good shampoo and conditioner.

My DD is 5 and I've been using regular shampoo and conditioner on her for awhile. She has thick curly hair, so the kid stuff wasn't working on her anymore.

I use both but actually prefer the regular shampoo in his hair. I had to wait until he dipped his head back in the bath before trying it

Re: Shampoo/Conditioner
I use loreal kids shampoo since they still get it in their eyes sometimes and Pantene or Aussie for conditioner.

I use regular shampoo and conditioner. It just seems to make their hair look better. We use Redken.

Re: Shampoo/Conditioner
DD has super fine, super flat hair that gets oily fast.
It's hard to find shampoo for oily hair- everything is conditioning these days.
So I found a Matrix Biolage Shampoo for oily hair- Clean Reset- and use that.
I alternate with Pantene Sheer Volume.
No conditioner- her hair is too oily for that.

BraginMama- thanks for posting this. its much cheaper than the brand i use. i think i will alternate days with my current one and this one

Re: Shampoo/Conditioner
I use kid shampoo on my kids - dolphin organics - but use my conditioner on the ends of my daughters hair.

Re: Shampoo/Conditioner
Aveeno shampoo and conditioner in one for both. DD who is 4.5 has super long hair with spiral curls. I use my conditioner and a spray in detangler for her!

I was using sauce shampoo and conditioner separate but finding it very hard to find these days. They changed to a new line with all in one naturals or something. I'm running out of conditioner now and can't find it anymore. I can't use all in one. Dd's hair is way to thick. I do t know what to use anymore.

My 4 year old has very very thick hair and its long to her butt. I use the aussie 3minute miracle strong everyday. Its the only thing that really conditions through her hair. I leave it on about a minute and only condition from ears down and rinse it. Without it I can't even get a brush through her hair.

We use the honest brand shampoo/body wash. It works fine, I have no issues with it. I don't bother with conditioner since I don't even use it in my hair. I find conditioner makes my fine hair totally flat and unmanageable.

When they were newborns, I used Neal Yard Remedies and once they started getting older, I started using either Medela or California Baby.
