Shake-A-Paw

Yesterday my best friend was in Port Jeff and she saw some people peacefully protesting in front of a new pet store that had opened. So she asked if we could come protest with them and whatnot. So I googled to find out the name of the pet store and Shake-A-Paw came up. Even though it's not the place, I decided to take a look at the website. Under the frequently asked questions, there is actually a question regarding adoption and the answer is speaking out against adoption! Telling people essentially you don't know what you're getting when you adopt! So sad...I just wish selling dogs and cats was illegal!!!

Re: Shake-A-Paw

Its absolutely sad cause I went there once cause a friend of a friend works there and I told hin ice been looking to adopt a dachshund for years and couldn't find any (I looked at multiple shelters weekly, lived on petfindet, etc) and decided I was going to find a reputable breeder and he's so warped in the head from that company, he had the balls to say that was the worst idea that their dogs were better and theyd lie to me saying they were real breeders when they'd be puppy mills. Its just so disgusting. I go in there once in a blue moon and play with a puppy or 2 since they're stuck begind a glass window all day

I was at the protest there on Saturday! The woman who owns save a pet is organizing it.

Every Saturday they're out protesting...come check it out

It's disgusting, these stores. The people I babysat for bought a $3000 tea-cup Yorkie from Shake-a-Paw. She had horrible ear mites & other medical issue... Guess they didn't know what they were getting themselves into.

I always wave at you guys, I pass you on my way to work. I hope the store closes. People honestly don't know about puppy mills & they need to learn. Opera should re-air her show!
