Shades or Blinds?
We are in our new home and are going to start looking for curtains today.
As much as I love the look of just flowing drapes alone, I know we need something else to block out the sun, and for privacy.
What does everyone have in their home? Thanks!

I have blinds we bought at Home depot. They're vinyl, but totally look like matte painted wood. I think they even make them in a wood finish.....

We have 2" wood blinds on most of our windows. They can be open or closed or up and down to let light in and the look nice.

what room is it for?
in the den, i have bamboo blinds. faux wood in the bdrms. FM if you are interested in the bamboo and i will tell you where to buy and how to install (yes, it is somewhat of a process).

In our living room and den ew have wood blinds with curtains. In the bedrooms we have honeycomb blinds with curtains. Everything was from blinds to go

We currently have the cheap 1" plastic blinds from Home Depot on our windows. I would LOVE to get the 2" wood ones for our den and for our kitchen and master bedroom I'd love to get roman shades. LOVE them!!
