Severe anemia..have to get iron through I.V.
After my OB sent me to a Hematogolist..I've found out that I'm severely anemic..and I will have to get iron infusions twice week...would explain why I'm weak all the time...has anyone ever went through this...?

that stinks that you have to go in 2X a week... but on a positive note, you finally will regain your energy...... which will make life much more comfortable...

hmm I was severely anemic and never needed to get the iron through the IV-but I did get blood transfusions to help.

I did!(I had my baby 8 weeks ago). I also had to get a shot of Procrit which stimulates your bone marrow to make more red blood cells. It was no big deal at all!!!!!!!
