Re: sesame place visit
We took DS in October when he was 15 months and did a weekend. We had a great time! It allowed us to pace ourselves too. We stayed at the Sheraton Bucks County and liked it a lot. They had a free shuttle to Sesame too.

sesame place visit
Two days was perfect for us. We went during the off season, so the Sheraton wasn't too bad per night, but it might be different for the regular season.

Re: sesame place visit
I did a one day trip when DS was just under 2. It was a late summer Saturday.
DD was 6 months. It was a TOTAL waste for her (but, hey, she was free).
We left in the AM, drove down, got there, had brunch/early lunch at a fish place before getting in the park (I hate park food), spent a few hours at Sesame & came back the same day.
DS was NOT that into the characters & while the water park was OK, it didn't have all that much extra for him to do (as compared to our community pool complex). I felt like it was geared for slightly older kids (think 3 or 4 years old). He did love the parade. DS went on all the rides in under 2 hours. The balloon one broke just before we were going to get on. He did not like the climbing net complex (was too young IMO). The shows were INSANELY PACKED (it was a summer Saturday) and we didn't do them. We tried to wait for pictures with one of the characters, but that was packed too & DS broke down quickly in the heat.
How long you need depends on how much your kids are into the characters & how fast versus slow you go. You could repeat things with them, or stretch it out by adding meals... but we didn't feel like we missed anything & were only there a few hours.
We may go back when both kids are older. Def not this year, when they will be 1.5 and 3 in the summer. We DO go to amusement parks & I felt that Adventureland was a BLAST for DS at the same age that we went to Sesame place (just before 2). He was able to go on MANY rides solo, join me on others. It was much cheaper & closer. You gotta try it for yourself. My SIL LOVED it with her kids.

Re: sesame place visit
great thanks for the tip. I think a day or two is good I agree with that. We are going with friends so I think it will be fun for them. Not sure about the characters yet.
