Sesame Place Hotels

What hotels do you recommend that are close to Sesame Place?

We are thinking of going and would like to stay close to Sesame but still drive in to Philly.

TIA!

Marriot Residence Inn...right down the street, complimentary breakfast, pool and the rooms were great-had a full kitchen so we could wash bottles/cups and refrigerate DD's milk.

Thank you!!

Did you buy a two day pass to Sesame Place and come back to the hotel during the day for naps?

We loved the Marriott Springhill Suites right next to the park. 5-minute walk, and it's a new hotel.

I looked into it and its pretty expensive. Maybe next time since this is our first time I don't want to spend a lot of money.

we actually had comp tickets from a friend but we would have bought the 2 day pass if we didnt. My dd was 20 months old so she needed a nap, we got there around 1 and she napped in the car, woke up and spent the next few hours there. We left the park and took her to the hotel for a bath and then went to dinner (Red Robin, on the same street as Sesame Place). Next Morning we went to the character breakfast (eat beforehand at the hotel breakfast) spent the morning at sesame, had lunch (again at red robin, the food in the park isnt great) and came home. Another thing I liked about the hotel was that they had a small "market" area and I was able to buy pint of whole milk for DD to have before bed.
I looked into Springhill suites but, unless I read their website wrong, their "suites" are one room divided by a desk area or other furniture. I needed a separate room for DD or she would never have gone to bed.

Re: Sesame Place Hotels

Stay at the crowne plaza in trevose. Much cheaper and its like a 10 min ride to sesame. We stayed there and it was nice. We also stayed at the shearton right across the street for sesame but its much more money.
