Sesame Place Experts - Hotel Advice and Tips?
DS will be about 21 months in July. I was going to wait for Sesame Place until next year, but it appears that he will enjoy it now. I just looked online and buy two nights get one free sounds like a pretty good deal...but where to stay? Is there really much difference between the Comfort inn and the Ramada - Levittown? Both include some sort of free breakfast. If we wanted to save some money, can we bring food into the park? Are there lockers big enough to accomodate? The package includes two season passes, is parking free or is that an additional expense? I am trying to figure out how much this "little" excursion is going to cost when all is said and done...(tolls, gas, food for three days, etc.). Any advice? Tips?

We stayed in the Sheraton Bucks County last year. We stayed 2 nights.
Wasnt that crazy about the Sheraton but the pros were: right across the street from the park and we used the free shuttle to get back and forth which worked out awesome bc we didnt have to pay for parking and it came pretty much all day long.
This year we are staying in the Residence Inn. Also across the street. we are staying 1 night.

I LOVE the residence inn...i like the extra space, the kitchen, super clean, great breakfast, kiddie movie at night with great food (snacks and beer/wine for mommy and daddy-at least they had this 2 years ago)!!!! we are staying there again this year. Here are my thoughts...you don't need 3 days unless you plan to do other things in Philly or something. 1 1/2 days is PLENTY in Sesame.
The residence inn give you a kitchen so that can save you $. You can bring a cooler into Sesame, they don't check the size so as long as it fits on your stroller you are fine. Bring in whatever you want! Don't eat the park food. Go out for lunch and walk over to the pizzaria uno (you can walk there in like 2 min.)...do the water rides in the afternoon if you do this.
don't get a package with a season pass unless you know you will go back this year. just get the elmo 2 day pass. i don't remember paying for parking, but the hotel should have a shuttle running all the time. we didn't get a locker, we used our stroller...people leave them and their stuff on them all over the park (though I wouldn't leave valuables). I think the cabanas aren't worth it.
