seriously..i call mercy!
I think it is just a combo of a lot of things but it is taking all of my energy not to go to the side office and cry today...just wanted to vent to women who totally get it..
so..after our 4th loss..i devloped a rare complaication from the d&c..was not getting my period..cervix scarred shut...schdueld for surgery this week but it got postponed because i got poison ivy alll over my body..the dr was worried and not worth the risk of trnasmitting it inside...so now it is pushed for a month but they had to put me on high dose of prednisone to get the ivy to calm down..in repsonse to that i feel sick and my face and neck are covered in tiny pimples...plus the dr said my cycle could be dalyed causing the surgery to be delayed..seriously i know in the whole spectrum of things it is only posion ivy but i feel like c'mon you have got to be kidding me..it will be months before we can even think of trying again and after 4 losses i just don't even know what we are going to do..
thanks for ltting me get this off my chest..now if only th pimples would go!!!

it is almost comical really =)..we were weeding on top of the hill in back..kind of wild..i was wearing long pants, long shirt, gloves etc but somehow i must have rolled up my sleeves or something?? My reg dr said it was a bad reaction and thinks it is poison sumac on my belly..apparently if you are really allergic all you have to do is come in contact and it will spread rashlike over the whole body?? who knew...these steroids are defintly kicking butt just kicking my butt too..

I'm so sorry you have to go through all this.
You must be very allergic to poison ivy - my dad is like that, he doesn't even have to touch it and he gets it badly.
If you know what shoes you were wearing, have DH or someone else get rid of the shoelaces. The oil from poison ivy can stay on things for a long time, you don't want to keep getting a new infection every time you tie your shoes!
I hope it clears up fast and you can get back on track.

Oh I'm so sorry you have to deal with this and postpone your surgery. Time, unfortunately, does go fast. Before you know it this will all be over and you will be back on track. Hang in there and stay away from gardening for this year.

Thanks ladies for all the support..I know everyone on this board has had to deal with more than we think we can handle sometimes..helps to know we are not alone and we will all kick this IF in the butt!!

Ugh, I'm sorry. I hope it clears up soon. DH is recovering from poison ivy right now too - it just touched his one leg and it spread to his other leg and his arms! So I know how miserable it is. Feel better!

I'm sorry you have to go thru all this. I've had 4 losses myself and know that pain all too well.
DH had bad reaction to poison ivy last year-wound up developing asthma from it, could barely breathe. He has to be extremly careful when working in the yard! I remember he had to take large dose of prednisone!

I dont understand how the little things start to all go wrong when your down. I feel your pain, it always seems to happen to me too.
I really hope it goes away fast and things start to look up for you!!
What surgery or what are they doing?
