Seriously people?!?!?! shopping related
I just went to the food store to pick up a few things and am shocked by how clueless some people are.
The store is overcrowded already with people shopping last minute, why is it okay for you to just leave your cart in the main aisle blocking registers and making it tight for people who are trying to get somewhere, so you can meander off to browse the baking aisle? another lady that was trying to pass said, "is she serious?!?!" all i could do was laugh.
Then when I'm walking back out to my car, there is a car that pulls out of one of the lanes where you park to the main driving lane in front of the store and just stops half way to let passengers in. Now they are not only blocking the long line of cars behind them but also the cars that are trying to go straight .
People have a little more consideration for others....this is the reason why so many people are rude around the holidaysl. :)
Happy Holidays!

Didn't you know that holidays brings out the "best" in people?
I swear there are more idiots around this time of year than any other time.

Sorry to turn this into a rant of my own...
Someone did that last year to me while it was a rain/snow mix and it was freezing. He stopped right in front of the entrance and I couldn't get my cart in. I SLAMMED my cart into his car (I didn't do any damage and was upset I didn't to be honest). His wife got out and said did you just hit my car? I said yes, yes I did. You are so inconsiderate to block me and the people behind me. You are not important enough to warrant stopping so nobody can get in the store and we get soaked just because your lazy azz can't walk and get wet. ' Then I proceeded to walk in the store while she stood there with her mouth wide open.

Re: Seriously people?!?!?! shopping related
seriously! My mom and I went to Rite Aid yesterday...we were searching for a cart, and found a dry one seemingly abandoned with a random box of candy canes in it....I looked all around, no one was near it...we waited for a minute, and then removed the candy canes and started to put DD in...
out of NOWHERE, this woman comes and says "excuse me that is my cart...and I believe there was something in it." I just looked at my Mom because this lady came from the counter that was on the opposite side of the (small) store and around the "corner"...So we said, oh - sorry - it appeared there wasn't any one around...and here are the candy canes..."Yea. Thanks" with a sneer was the response we get.....and then....SHE LEFT IT THERE and went around the corner again....I just looked at my mom baffled...we found another cart and continued...but this lady was ready to start a full scale argument about the cart she left on the other side of the store!!
People are just strange...even more so this time of year!!
Just ask the man who cursed me out from inside his car, because I waited for him to make a left, so I could make a RIGHT in the snow-blocked parking lot!!

I think the amount of idiots is the same all times of the year. We are just more stressed around the holidays and have less patience, so everyone seems more annoying than say, in the summer, when we don't have to shop for gifts in heavy coats and deal with crappy weather.

This may be true plus the crowds dont help the matter either.
Thanks for listening!

Re: Seriously people?!?!?! shopping related
I know! I hate this time of year. I don't go out unless it's early in the morning or late at night.
I can't stand when people race down the parking lot to look for a spot. I always look several times when I'm backing out and continue looking as I'm backing out, but some car always goes whizzing by much too fast and nearly takes out my back end.

Re: Seriously people?!?!?! shopping related
I know!! I hate shopping this time a year.
We were at Target Saturday and I was bending down to look at the DSi's in the glass case and this women puts her cart inches from my face and just starts looking at something behind me.
I wanted to take her cart and park it somewhere else...somewhere not in the store.
Instead DH grabbed her cart and just pushed down the aisle. She was about to say something but just turned and walked away.

Re: Seriously people?!?!?! shopping related
I would have pushed her cart as far away from where she left it or would have taken it with me if she wasn't looking

Re: Seriously people?!?!?! shopping related
I was in the check out lane today, and the 2 people in front of me were together.. Each had 1 cart. The first lady put the second lady's things in her cart so lady 2 left her cart there!! She left it blocking the checkout lane - couldn't even take it with her to the front where she was going anyway!! I ended up pushing it into my cart and bringing it with me to the front.
Not to mention several cars that didn't even slowdown as I was crossing in the crosswalk!
