Re: september mommies....how are you?
Glad to know that you are doing fine.
I am doing fine as well. I am 37 weeks today. I am so excited, anxious, and nervous.
My DD's nursery is completed and my hospital bag is already packed.
I will be having the last of my Lamaze class on Tuesday where I will be getting a tour of the hospital. I am so excited about that.
My DH and I along with our family are anxiously awaiting Ella's arrival. I still cannot believe that I am going to be a mommy very soon.

Re: september mommies....how are you?
Hey ladies!
Glad to know everything is going well with you!
I will be 39 weeks on Saturday... and this baby is showing no signs of wanting to come out... has not dropped, no dilation or effacing! So the waiting game continues!
I am starting to feel large at this point, but definitely still say this has been a great pregnancy! My doctor says they will let women go at least 7 days past their due date, so we will see what happens!
I just can't wait to meet this little one I have been carrying around for the last 9 months!!! Getting very excited now that it is so close!
Other than that, not much else to report! Have most of my bag packed... how behind am I???!!!?! Am planning on finishing up all last minute things this weekend. Eek!
Be well ladies, not much longer to go!

Re: september mommies....how are you?
Hello Ladies, Things are going well here. I am 35 weeks according to one due date or almost 35 according to the other. Had a doctors appt this week of which I gained 6 pounds since my last appt 3 weeks ago! Had my baby shower on Saturday, and it was terrific celebrating and getting great things for baby. I spent this week finishing my lamaze class and washing all baby clothes, sheets and blankets. My hospital bag is coming along, hope to finish that this weekend. I don't go back to the doctor until September 6th. I can't believe how close it is to baby time. It blows my mind that some people on the September expecting list already have babies! Stay well and best wishes! Christy

Re: september mommies....how are you?
Hi ladies! I am almost 36 weeks now. I am feeling very anxious and excited right now. I am a little tired and I have been getting headaches on and off. I am also feeling very big. The other day I finally washed the baby's clothes. The next thing I want to do is pack my bag for the hospital. I just printed out the list that was made on this board and another one I found on line. Today I may go to target and pick up some things that I do not have yet.
Next week I also have to go to my Union for the board of education and make sure I understand what papers I need to fill out for my paid six weeks on maternity leave and then the papers to go on a leave of absence after this. I tried to talk to someone over the phone but they were nasty and not helpful.
I have a doctor's appointment next Tuesday.
I wish all you ladies the best in your last weeks of pregnancy.

Re: september mommies....how are you?
Hey Karen...I'm very excited too!!
I gained this week too...2lbs, almost 3. STRANGE! I haven't really been eating more so I don't know whats going on! Although I have noticed I'm retaining more water so thats probably what it is. My shoes are a bit tight!
I have a big to do list for me and DH to get every thing done this weekend. My hospital bag is almost packed...the baby clothes will be washed this weekend along with putting some stuff together (pack & play, swing, etc)
I'm still feeling really good! Baby is kicking a lot...I think I can actually feel when his foot presses against my belly where as before I didn't know if it was a knee, a butt, etc!! Dr. will probably give me an induction date on Monday!!!

Re: september mommies....how are you?
Glad to see that everyone is doing well!!! I went to the ob/gyn this past Tuesday and we scheduled a c section for 9/17/07!!!!!!!
I have been feeling so big lately and sleeping is becoming a challenge.
I am going to have dh install the carseat mounting over the weekend in case of an early arrival and am taking it to be inspected next Thursday.
The babys room is still not done, I am hoping that dh will get some pep in his step as we are almost there .
ETA- TOday I go to the perinatal Dr. so I will find out what ds weight is at. Both of my Dr's expect to see me once a week so I am a regular on the BQE.
I am going to pack my bag and wash some of the babys clothing, it's so exciting! I still am feeling nervous, scared , excited and ecstatic all @ the same time thinking about becoming a mommy.

Re: september mommies....how are you?
Hello all!!!!!
Just came from the drs office and baby looks great "scoring a 10 out of 10". I get sonos and NSP's every week and she was breathing and swallowing and of course kicking me in the ribs . Got great news this morning that i do not have to do a 24 hr collection every week - last week they told me that i would becuase of some protein spilling.
Nursery is 98% done - needs some things for the walls.
Hospital bag is almost done - need some day cloths and nursing shirts.
Have to put the car seat in.
Other then that really just a counting the days - i can't wait to meet her!!!
Glad to hear everyone is doing great!!!

Re: september mommies....how are you?
Whats up chicas!
35 weeks here and counting. Feeling good except for the swollen feet (especially my right one) and getting tired pretty quickly in the evening.
We're working on our bedroom and will finish putting the furniture together this weekend. We painted, got new blinds, stained our closet doors, got a new area rug, so once the furniture is all in, I'll be able to start washing the clothes and putting everything away. I'm starting to get my hospital bag ready and we have to get cracking on watching those childbirth videos...
Other than that I am very excited...not so much nervous yet, just very excited and I can't wait for my little guy to come out already!

Re: september mommies....how are you?
Coming to the final stretch and really looking forward to meeting the little terrorist in my belly.
I am seeing my peri doctor 2x per week and my OB 1x per week now to ensure that my sugars stay in check and baby grows properly.
As of 34 weeks, baby is 5 lbs which is great news for a diabetic mommy. No fat baby here! My blood pressure has been wonderful (100/70 or 110/70) and my weight gain is less that suggested, which is great. I have had no swelling, except for a little at night sometimes if I wear flip flops or heels all day (yes I still wear heels, theya re more comfortable than flip flops for me!)
I am on a strict diet and insulin 4x a day and that seems to be helping everything stay on target.
Doctor said if baby wants to come now no one would stop it, so I'd like to get to Sept 1 then I will be working on making baby move south - walking, squating, sex and everything else the books suggest:)
Baby's room is ready, mommy just needs to pack her bag and finish dusting behind the entertainment center and under the bed (I want everything PERFECT before I go into labor - I am nuts! LOL)
Easy Labor Vibes to everyone!

Re: september mommies....how are you?
Since this was bumped, I figured I would add to it.
I had my 37.5 wk appt today & I'm already 1cm dilated! I've been having a lot of braxton hicks but today they were a little painful. I'm hoping to go into labor sometime next week but who knows. I'm sure dh is tired of me because I've been a little irratable (ok, a lot!)

Re: september mommies....how are you?
Here's my update:
I spent Tuesday in L&D for high blood pressure. I was actually at work and feeling very foggy headed. My suagrs were fine so I went to Duane Reade and bought a BP machine. It was high so I went to the doctor who then sent me to L&D.
After 4 hours, all seems well and my BP went down. They could give no explaination except that with GD things can happen so just keep an eye out for swelling, high sugar and high BP.
I was off yesterday and went back to the high risk doctor where they are happy with the way things are progressing. Baby is close to 6 lbs now (35.5 weeks) and in position on my cervix.
I go next Wednesday for my first internal, my strep B ... I hope things are happening, I am terrified of being induced.

Re: september mommies....how are you?
I am just about 38 weeks. Have a Dr appt tonight can't wait to find out what's going on in there/down there.
My feet have swelled up and when I look down I am not sure if they are my feet or Fred Flinstones. I also have been having a lot of cramping, which i am going to talk to the dr about tonight.
Also, my least fav thing is the carpal tunnel i developed in my right hand...it hurts so bad
